Cubana Chief Priest, a well-known socialite, has advised Nigerians against evading the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
According to him, the personnel of the anti-corruption agency do not physically mistreat suspects. He further stated that their role is limited to conducting investigations and initiating legal proceedings.
The speaker observed that the EFCC will consistently apprehend individuals who evade invitations or fight arrest, regardless of their hiding place.
The socialite commended the agency’s hospitality, emphasising that they provide three nutritious meals in their confinement area.
Cubana Chief Priest indicated on his Instagram page that the Eagle will consistently soar to great heights in order to apprehend you regardless of your hiding place.
There is no need to flee when the official Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) invites you. Simply attend the meeting and cooperate with their investigation and prosecution process, since they do not harm or physically assault anybody. They have facilities such as a cell, toilet and bathroom. They also provide meals including breakfast, lunch and dinner. So, why are you trying to escape?
Cubana Chief Priest was recently brought before Justice Kehinde Ogundare of the Federal High Court, Lagos, by the EFCC on three charges related to the misuse of the Naira.
Nevertheless, he was granted bail in the amount of N10 million with two sureties of equal value after entering a plea of not guilty.
